Hessmer man found guilty of cutting down more than 100 trees on Spring Bayou WMA

A Hessmer man was found guilty on March 2 in 12th Judicial District Court in Avoyelles Parish for cutting down more than 100 trees on the Spring Bayou Wildlife Management Area in order to block navigable access to an area he hunted known as “The Fields,” according to a press release from the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries.[…]
